The Kumeu Show
The Kumeu Show is the largest show in the Southern Hemisphere, and is held on 34 hectares (80acres) of land owned by the Kumeu District Agricultural & Horticultural Society, on the second weekend in March of every year. Kumeu A & H Society's mission is to promote, organise and conduct shows, exhibitions, meetings and other events.
The show attracts exhibitors from all over New Zealand, as well as International Judges. The Show is regularly attended by Members of Parliament, often as guests and exhibitors.
The Show offers strong competition for sheep, cattle, pigs, goats and horses, highland dancing, Alpacas. Shearing, and wood chopping events are always well supported.
Over 500 trade spaces are sold every year.
